Have a Romantic Dinner
After exploring Bryan's history, taste the flavors of the city at one of the many local restaurants in Historic Downtown Bryan.
- Ronin Restaurant: This farm-to-table restaurant has a delicious menu that changes seasonally and a charming atmosphere that's perfect for date night. Located in the historic Ice House on Main Street, Ronin shares an open-air kitchen with the dining room, floor-to-ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built suspension tables made using wood salvaged during renovation from the original flooring.
- Caffe Capri: A local favorite for Italian fare, Caffé Capri features a menu with mouthwatering dishes like chicken parmigiana, baked penne, and pesto ravioli. Rami Cerone (an Aggie graduate, whoop!) opened the restaurant in 1995, transforming a former grocery store into an elevated dining experience. Keep an eye out for historic photos of the building, hanging on the wall by the bar. There are a few fun murals outside, too, if you want to take a cute couples photo before you go.
- Elia Cafe Tapas Bar: For couples who love to share a meal, Elia is an ideal spot to try a little bit of everything together. It's named after the owner's grandmother, Elia, who grew up in Spain, and each dish is infused with the family's rich culinary heritage. Along with their exceptional Spanish dishes, including empanadas de carne, paella mixta, and tapas, Elia offers a relaxed dinner setting in a renovated historic hardware store. They also have live music every evening!
"As soon as we walked in the door at Elia, it was clear there's substance behind the good family story: the food was phenomenal."
