FREE SHUTTLE

On Friday and Saturday, there will be a free shuttle running from Texas A&M University to Historic Downtown Bryan. The shuttle will run from the Memorial Student Center (MSC) to the Roy Kelly Parking Garage in Downtown Bryan. All TAMU shuttles have both wheelchair lifts and restraints for accessibility.

In Historic Downtown Bryan Margie's Bar & Grill serves up smaller two-ounce Opersteny Burgers and their larger one-pound Margie's Burgers with names like "Big Texas" and "Bilbo Burger." Plus, talk about flavor! The grill at Margie's has been the same grill that has cooked delicious old-fashioned burgers with fresh ground beef since the start of the business in 1924 by the Opersteny Family.

This local favorite has been a go-to for delicious Italian food since 1995. It's located in a former grocery store (look up to see the original tin ceilings), and run by Texas A&M graduate Rami Cerone. Their Chicken Parmigiana and Baked Penne are some of the best in town!

Blackwater Draw is a craft brewery & taproom at the north end of Historic Downtown Bryan that also happens to be home to one of the best food trucks in Aggieland, Blackwater Bites. They serve classic gastropub favorites, with some of the best fries you’ll find in the Brazos Valley. They often have live music, too, which of course pairs great with their signature brews.

Did you know that there are over 5,000 species of wildflowers in Texas? Spend the morning admiring wildflowers at Boonville Heritage Park, a unique historical setting. Budding artists are welcome to bring their own watercolors, coloring pencils, paper, and clipboards to capture the beauty of the flowers.
If the wildflowers aren't in bloom quite yet, don't worry — Boonville is still a fascinating place to visit! This is the birthplace of the Brazos Valley, and is home to several log cabins and a historic cemetery.

Enjoy a Choir Performance
The Prairie View A&M University Concert Chorale is performing at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Historic Downtown Bryan on Sunday during A&M Family Weekend! Head to this historic church at 3:00 PM to experience the beautiful voices of the choir. They are presenting a diverse range of songs, including works by African American composers with an emphasis on the performance and presentation of the African-American spiritual.
This performance will be in the main church, which was built in 1914 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The event is free and open to the public.

Explore the Aggieland Art Trail
Experience the arts in Aggieland with the new, free, Aggieland Art Trail pass! You can check in, earn points, and win prizes. The art trail will bring you to murals, sculptures, and art galleries all throughout Bryan-College Station.
